Long Beach Museum of Art events department is seeking positive, energetic and hospitable individuals to join our Special Events team We are hiring seasonal catering servers/bartenders and event operations staff. This is a part-time seasonal position, with possible career growth. This is a perfect opportunity for those with a flexible schedule, who are looking to pick up shifts to supplement their other job or for students. QUALIFICATIONS

● 2 years serving experience preferred

● Responsible training food handler & responsible beverage service training bundle

● Passion for hospitality

● 21+ years of age (for bartenders)

● Must be a team player

● Must have reliable transportation

● Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests

● Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes (bartenders)

● Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register

● Ability to lift 30+ pounds

● Ability to stand and walk outdoors for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift)

● Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

● Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail

● High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance

● Experience using POS systems preferred
