Job Title: Part-Time Catering Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our catering operations during day and evening events. As a Part-Time Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and helping to develop proposals.
  • Pipeline Management: Help track catering leads and support the management of the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Setup and Breakdown: Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all materials are organized and beautifully presented.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Help serve food and beverages during events, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Guest Engagement: Interact with guests during events to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Logistics Coordination: Support the coordination of catering logistics, including inventory management and transportation of supplies.
  • Simplified Event Execution: Streamline the event execution process by assisting with scheduling, coordinating team roles, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and other staff to ensure seamless event execution, maintaining clear communication throughout.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that all work areas are clean and comply with health and safety regulations throughout each event.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in catering or hospitality preferred.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including both day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and handle challenges with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high service standards and cleanliness.
