As a Front Desk Clerk at our dry cleaning business, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers. In addition to managing the front desk, you will also be responsible for starting the cleaning equipment in the morning so that clothes can be pressed when the remaining staff start their shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with their dry cleaning needs, including taking in and handing out orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process transactions, including payments, accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Start and monitor dry cleaning machines early in the morning to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Keep accurate records of orders, payments, and customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of orders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to start early in the morning (5:45)
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
