Human Resources Administrator


Job Summary:

As a core member of the Human Resources (HR) team, the Human Resources Administrator will administer the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and organizational management while enforcing company policies and practices. Additionally, they provide continuous support to managers in various staff-related matters such as employee relations, learning and development, and monitoring staff morale and company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, staff, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Guides employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters. Ensures compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, including maintaining employee handbooks and updating policies as needed.
  • Utilizes HR software and databases to input, update, and retrieve employee data. Generates reports and analyzes data to support decision-making and identifies trends or areas that require attention.
  • Assists in the organization and coordination of training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborates with HR Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Assists employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and queries.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform all related duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required
  • Minimum of three years of experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk and sit
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity using a keyboard
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds
