Objective: As Account Manager, you will be an intricate part of the sales team by helping to ensure an excellent customer experience and quality sales support through timely and accurate communication ensuring customer’s needs are being met. The Account Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and growing all assigned accounts through active accounts and growing their book by identifying new leads.
- Follow Sales Strategy and Execution: Drive new business and sales experience. Coordinate and maintain relationships with hair replacement centers, barber shops, and salons.
- Connect: Generate outbound calls, emails, and virtual customer visits with existing and new customers daily
- Achieve New Business Sales: Drive organizational growth and profitability.
- Product Placement: Develop product plan for customers based on selling history & potential
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Always uphold and represent all Jon Renau CORE Values
- Manage customer expectations and cultivate relationships to achieve long-term partnerships with continued focus on development of new accounts
- Actively and consistently negotiate product merchandising in stores to increase market share and meet/exceed sales goals
- Support and utilize all educational tools and resources to improve the customer experience and reduce returns
- Execute effective strategies to book customers for education courses
- Order entry and process returns
- Track and monitor sales trends to react to business when warranted and for planning purposes
- Maintain updated customer records
- Identify and qualify lead opportunities
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products & services offered to better upsell & cross-sell to customers.
Skills, Knowledge & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of Sales Experience, preferred experience in Hair & Beauty
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
- Negotiation skills as it relates to renewal upsells, cross-selling and product add-ons
- Strong computer experience and ability to navigate Microsoft Office 360 Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Proficient with spreadsheets, common customer success/relationship software, NetSuite a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Sales motivated, team-focused attitude and willingness to collaborate with peers and build positive relationships.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational, self-management and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, prioritize and respond quickly
- Cosmetology License is preferred
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Travel: Travel required for customer visits, seminars, and training
Work authorization/Security Clearance: Must be eligible to work in the United States of America
