Role Summary:

As an Accounting Associate Manager at NeoGenomics, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the company's growth by ensuring precise accounting practices and thorough analysis. You will be part of a dedicated team that genuinely supports your career aspirations. Individuals who are self-driven and possess strong analytical and communication skills will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and maintain monthly journal entries and account reconciliations while assisting in variance analysis investigations. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting personnel. Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller on special projects as required. Provide operational analysis to determine necessary accruals during the monthly closing process. Assist the Accounting Manager in performing data analytics to uncover business insights and identify potential accounting discrepancies. Oversee fixed asset transactions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop scalable solutions. Prepare and review requests from external auditors for interim and annual audits. Manage audit requests for statutory and external audits. Cultivate cross-functional working relationships.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Minimum of 4 years of accounting or relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster relationships within and outside the accounting team. Proficient analytical skills, including model building and data mining experience. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA certification. Experience with Big 4 public accounting firms. Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to operate independently within a broad framework of guidelines and established policies. High level of confidentiality. Advanced computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with large-scale automated systems. Proven leadership and management capabilities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining quality. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
