We're seeking a detailed-oriented AP Specialist to join a fantastic team As the AP Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company and obtaining proper approvals for paying invoices and handling check runs.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Verify invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing issues promptly
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Work with purchase orders and work orders
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks as needed
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
