PART-TIME Research Laboratory Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:
● Perform wet lab bench activities while following the aseptic technique.
● Conduct quantitative and qualitative biological assays under the supervision of the project lead.
● Support cell culture activities and experiments in multiple cell lines.
● Consult with research project leaders to implement and optimize laboratory procedures.
● Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, including liquid handling robots and qPCR machines.
● Document results and communicate scientific progress through written and verbal reports.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
● Highschool Diploma / A.A. degree required
● Min 1 year of work experience/higher education in Biology, Molecular Biology, and other Human Health related fields
● Ability to work on-site in Brisbane California
● Must have experience working in a laboratory setting
● Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
● Highly organized individual with attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
