Job Overview

At HIKINEX, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Laboratory Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, including wet lab bench activities, biological assays, and cell culture experiments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and assays under the supervision of our project lead, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Support the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures, working closely with our research project leaders.
  • Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment, including liquid handling robots and qPCR machines.
  • Document results and communicate scientific progress through written and verbal reports.
  • Collaborate with our research team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or A.A. degree in a relevant field, such as biology, molecular biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience or higher education in a laboratory setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.

  • Competitive hourly rate ($20-23/hour).
