Community Home Health Services, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks a Full-Time Referral Specialist for West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL..

The primary function of the PRC is to provide direct and indirect support to marketing team, all applicable electronic referral systems and intake. Through the delivery/accepting/maintaining of the electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Primary duties will be to maintain day to day electronic referral systems with Sales and Marketing Teams and communicate with the Intake Team for submission.
  • Accepting referrals daily and accurately, completes and/or updates new patient records; gathering all necessary demographic, medical, insurance and other data for accepted referrals.
  • Multitasking, efficient, and quick response time to generate/solidify referrals.
  • Works in partnership with Sales team, branch staff, and all other departments to support overall customer service excellence.
  • Works periodic reports as assigned to complete necessary follow-up, record-keeping, and other related department functions.
  • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts.
  • Identify, assess, troubleshoot electronic referral based related issues as they occur, and see through to full resolution.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation with sales, intake, and operations.
  • Coordinates and conducts new employee system review and detailed job specifics.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as needed.
