Job Description**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide clinical support services to patients, including assisting counselors and the therapeutic team in delivering evidence-based treatment programs.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients, promoting a culture of respect and dignity.
- Document patient information and activities in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA protocols.
- Collaborate with the clinical and leadership team to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Participate in crisis intervention situations, utilizing knowledge of crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate conflicts.
- Maintain accurate records of patient behavior and activities, including collection and logging of urine samples, Breathalyzers, and other relevant data.
- Assist with intake and discharge processes, including collection of personal valuables and logging of patient fund sheets.
- Organize and participate in outdoor activities, promoting a healthy and engaging environment for patients.
- Complete all required trainings and certifications, including those mandated by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and The Joint Commission.
- Ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and facilities, adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required to support the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with a combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the behavioral healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of substance abuse and chemical dependency treatment levels of care, as well as crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Relevant computer software and hardware applications proficiency, including Electronic Medical Records and billing systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
