POSITION SUMMARY:

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Honolulu, HI

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES IF APPLICABLE

    • This position supervises a staff of 3+, including Program Coordinators

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee ABA program’s operational activities.
  • Responsible for program economic viability and growth by developing and conducting performance improvement activities within the program
  • Formalize all ABA program’s operations, document structure and writing standards.
  • Assess and monitor for appropriate recommendations and contract utilization.
  • Recruit, rapidly build and retain a high-quality staff.
  • Develop, structure and monitor trainings for RBT’s and BCBA’s.
  • Training and oversight of all ABA Program Coordinators.
  • Create and monitor professional development plans for staff.
  • Update and conduct performance reviews for ABA program coordinators.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, referral sources and other personnel working with clients.
  • Provide administrative input for individual and group supervision to HBH staff working with the Department of Education and Private Insurance as needed.
  • Maintain communication and attend meetings with external/ contract stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with community partners and attend Community outreach events.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to strategically think and act in a manner that represents the position as the owner for all services provided on the Big Island without regards to the specific program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • +3 years of management experience
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet strict timelines
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and project management skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university or number of years of experience equivalent
  • +3 years of management and operations experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Central Reach platform system (preferred)
  • Experience in ABA industry (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequently speaking with and listening to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
  • Utilize computer, cell phone or desk phone and scanner/printer.
  • Frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the workplace, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.
