Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant for temp to hire with our client. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of a non-profit organization and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take charge and work independently.

```Responsibilities```
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
- Utilize accounting software
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
- Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
