Plastic Injection Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Injection Molding Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Injection Molding Shift Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our injection molding department during their assigned shift. This role is critical to ensuring that production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while meeting quality standards and production targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding, leadership experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Shift Operations: Lead and manage a team of injection molding operators and technicians ensuring production schedules are met.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality of products meets company standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Safety Management: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance activities. Provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in injection molding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
