Responsibilities

  • Assist Loan Officers with Loan Applications: Prepare and review loan applications and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on loan status and answering any questions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Documentation Management: Organize and maintain loan files, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurately filed.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Enter loan information into our banking system and generate reports for loan officers and management to track the progress and performance of loan portfolios.
  • Coordinate Loan Closings: Schedule and coordinate loan closings, ensuring all parties are informed and all necessary documents are prepared and signed.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal and state lending regulations to protect the bank from legal and financial risks.
  • Support Loan Officer Outreach: Aid loan officers in their outreach efforts to potential clients, helping to grow the bank's loan portfolio and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, with a focus on loan processing or administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with banking software systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in loan documentation and compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal team members.
