Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist - Dolhun Clinic

Location: San Francisco, CA-USA

Expected Hours: 8:00 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Front Desk Receptionist for our internal medicine medical practice. This role is temporary for 4-6 weeks. Ideal person has excellent communication skills and is familiar with professional attire and language; to answer phones, take good messages and perhaps scheduling. Urgent short term need, which may lead to long-term employment.

Job Responsibilities

The Office plays a crucial role: aligning excellent patient relations with our internal need to deliver excellence. The primary responsibility is assisting in customer communication, customer service, and maintaining a neat and orderly office. This position is highly collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires a high level of customer service and communication skills.

 

  • Responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations

  • Works at the front desk of the office, greeting patients as they arrive and making sure the area is clean, orderly and sanitized - the first point of contact for patients

  • Answers and responds to patient and vendor phone calls and emails in a highly professional manner

  • Receives and delivers clinic mail and packages

  • Manages patient scheduling, phone calls and emails

  • Oversees new patient registration process

  • Ensures all customer service standards are met


Education & Experience

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, or a related degree (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of office management experience (required)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
