We are currently seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist with additional bookkeeping responsibilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in receptionist duties along with a basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities:

Front Desk Receptionist:

  1. Greet visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  2. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  5. Schedule appointments and meetings as needed.
  6. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  7. Provide general administrative support to team members as required.

Bookkeeping:

  1. Assist with recording day-to-day financial transactions.
  2. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  3. Help reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  4. Assist with preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  5. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Front Desk Receptionist:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  6. Professional appearance and demeanor.

Bookkeeping:

  1. Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  2. Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is a plus.
  3. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is desirable but not required.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
