The E-commerce Account Manager is responsible for managing online portals and channels, monitoring listing performance and profitability, and analyzing the competitive landscape to address potential issues. This role involves optimizing pricing and working interdepartmentally with the Business Intelligence department to ensure KPIs are met. The ideal candidate should be proficient in data analysis, possess a strong understanding of online omnichannel portals and product merchandising, and thrive in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing performance.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and constructive interaction across departments.
  • Oversee the profitability and business aspects of online sales channels, such as websites, social media, and online marketplaces.
  • Optimize and maximize gross profit (GP) while maintaining optimal pricing strategies.
  • Set parameters for promotions and discounts with the ads manager and BI department to monitor their post-sales success.
  • Assist in overseeing SEO, PPC advertising, email marketing, and social media expenses and profitability to ensure these activities provide value to the overall business strategy.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, eCommerce platform requirements, and digital marketing tools and techniques to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Review and adjust policies that impact the success of each account, including shipping and freight.
  • Analyze customer data and behavior to identify trends and preferences.
  • Provide eCommerce performance insights, regular reports, and analysis to stakeholders, including making recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Negotiate project priorities based on anticipated ROI, timeline, and cost involved.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Process Improvement: Focused on enhancing processes and creating value.

·         Adaptability and Work Ethic: Flexible, quick to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team with a strong work ethic.
