Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Training and Development Coordinator in support of our site management at our manufacturing location/office in Scottsdale, AZ This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for employees across this location. The role focuses on enhancing employee skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work through effective training and development initiatives. Due to the diversity of responsibilities, the ideal candidate will be a skilled interpersonal and resourceful individual with a passion for employee engagement, innovation in training and improving organizational performance.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Training and Development Coordinator

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance evaluations and solutions with managers and department heads.
  • Create training materials, manuals and documentation.
  • Coordinate with training providers when necessary
  • Utilize various training methods, including e-learning, in-person sessions and on-the-job training.
  • Develop individual development plans for employees to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support professional development
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make improvements as needed
  • Work with managers to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to address them
  • Assist in the development of performance improve plans for underperforming employees
  • Track and report employee progress and performance improvements.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes
  • Prepare reports on training metrics and effective for management review.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements of the Manufacturing Training and Development Coordinator

  • Work schedule is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, In office.
  • Certification in training and development highly preferred
  • Proven experience in employee training and development, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisor/leadership role
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Computer/Technology Proficiency – MS Office
  • Ethical Practice.
  • Occasional travel up to 30% of the time may be required to various company locations.
