Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Cartridges

Direct Reports:

  • Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing processes to achieve cost efficiency, ergonomic standards, quality assurance, and cycle time objectives.
  • Provide immediate assistance to production lines addressing process or equipment challenges.
  • Investigate, design, adapt, and evaluate manufacturing techniques and machinery.
  • Offer engineering support to technicians, trainers, and production supervisors.
  • Assess, select, and implement manufacturing machinery, robotics, and automation solutions to meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Product, and Automation teams to ensure production outcomes align with product and customer specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through automation technologies.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and technical manuals for all automation systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with high-volume automated production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, detailed, and concise documentation.
  • Proficient in leading Root Cause Analysis investigations using recognized methodologies.

Compensation:
Axon offers a comprehensive compensation package, which includes base salary, bonuses, and stock options.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 in lower geographic markets to USD 120,000 in higher geographic markets.

Actual base salary will depend on various factors, including:

level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of these factors.
