Job Summary: Are you ready to transform the future of video advertising? The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director to lead our video efforts at the Media Center of Excellence. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of the digital video and advanced TV landscape, coupled with a proven ability to drive innovation and collaboration within the industry.

What You'll Do:

As the Director of the Media Center, you will:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to advance the video advertising agenda.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Leverage your deep understanding of the digital video and advanced TV landscape to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Position IAB as a thought leader in the digital video space through your expert knowledge of the video marketplace.
  • Ecosystem Health:
  1. Demonstrates a strong understanding of responsible media practices, including brand safety, ad fraud prevention, and compliance with industry standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including multi-platform publishers, tech enablers, brands, and agencies.
    • Collaborate closely with these leaders to identify challenges and implement solutions that drive growth.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Shape industry discussions and contribute to thought leadership in the digital media landscape.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills:
    • Effectively communicate complex ideas to a diverse audience, ensuring clarity and engagement.

Specific Experience:

  • Media and Advertising Industry:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the advertising and media industry.
  • Product Management or Business Development:
    • Experience in developing and launching new products or services.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Familiarity with data analysis and insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Its membership comprises more than 700 leading media companies, brands, agencies, and the technology firms responsible for selling, delivering, and optimizing digital ad marketing campaigns.
