Tax Senior Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tax returns for businesses and individuals.
  • Participate in client tax planning and projections.
  • Conduct tax research when necessary
  • Communicate with tax authorities at the federal and state level on behalf of our clients.
  • Make journal entries for year-end close including bank reconciliations.
  • Generate trial balance & financial statements.
  • Perform bookkeeping services for a variety of clients
  • Handle routine client questions, and work with clients to obtain necessary information for financials and tax return completion.
  • Be involved in practice development including networking activities

Tax Senior Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ideally 2+ years current CPA firm experience
  • CPA earned or in-progress
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's in Tax or Accounting preferred
  • Ability to multitask, handle various projects simultaneously, and adhere to deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues thru various channels
  • Organized, attentive and positive attitude
  • Driven individual with entrepreneurial qualities
  • Enjoy developing new relationships and new business for the firm
