Overview

Overall responsibility of recruiting, improving and implementing policies, programs and practices. Experience in recruiting and retaining talent to meet growth requirements is necessary.  

Manages the payroll process using ADP TotalSource and administers benefits programs such as life, health, 401K plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. Advise leadership team on company culture, risk management and HR related matters. Provides leadership and expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs and strategic development.

Oversees HR programs and processes in compliance with local, state, federal/country regulations. Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys.

Develops, recommends, updates and implements personnel policies and procedures; maintains Employee handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

· Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes in organizations policies, programs and practices.

· Uses social networking tools for attracting talent to the organization.

· Prepares employees for growth opportunities within the company by establishing and monitoring employee skills improvement through counselling and training programs.

· Conducts periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting performance evaluations; recommends, plans and implements pay structure revisions.

· Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee skills by training managers to coach and discipline employees; schedules regular conferences between management and employees; hearing and resolution of employee grievances; counseling, training employees and supervisors or then current policies and practices.

· Administers benefits programs such as life, health, 401K plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.

· Manages Payroll and timeclock system for the organization with guidance from CFO. Works with department managers to ensure proper use of the timeclock system and accurate reporting for payroll. 

· Conducts organization-wide safety training programs to ensure compliance to policies and practices.

· Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records and representing the organization at hearings. Possesses detail understanding of current labor laws and OSHA regulations.

· Develops and updates management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

· Develops and implements educational workshops and seminars to continuously improve employee’s skills, productivity and organizational growth. Counsels employees on future growth opportunities through identification of training programs.

· Regularly communicates job results to employees by counseling and disciplining employees; maintains, improves and monitors organizations skills inventory to meet current and future needs.

· Monitors and maintains organizations risk management compliance to federal, state and corporate requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Human Resource Generalist in organizations with over 100 employees

· Must have experience in recruiting and retaining talent to meet growth requirements.

· Experienced managing timeclock, wage and hour rules, and payroll.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

· Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

· Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. 

PREFERRED SKILLS

· Experience in recruiting workers for assembly, welding, CNC machining, engineering, sales, quality control, and customer service.

· Experience in recruiting management and technical personal.

· Work Experience in multi-national Corporation.

· PHR or SPHR or equivalent Certification preferred.
