Sales Representative (Diamond Wholesale)

Up to $65,000 a year plus bonuses and commissions based on company and individual performance.

Earn up to 6 figures year 1

JobGiraffe's client is a wholesaler of diamonds.

As Sales Representative for a Diamond and Jewelry Wholesaler, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving industry-specific training
  • Performing a combination of Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Account Management functions
  • Establishing relationships with new and existing customers
  • Communicating with customers by phone, email and through in-person consultation (no cold-calling)
  • Arranging in-person and virtual meetings with clients
  • Providing information on product pricing, details, availability and lead times
  • Answering questions and address inquiries
  • Making product suggestions as appropriate
  • Processing price quotes
  • Negotiating and closv sales
  • Providing post sale support
  • Entering and processv orders
  • Updating customer account information
  • Serving as an ongoing resource for accounts
  • Troubleshooting issues and complaints as they arise
  • Escalating complex issues as necessary
  • Performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

  • At least 2 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience
  • Communication and phone skills

Pluses:

  • +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • +++ Jewelry Industry or Diamond Industry experience
  • +++ Jewelry and/or Diamond Wholesale experience
