Job DescriptionJob Description

Bimbo Bakeries seeks Administrative Assistant to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for assigned area.

Required skills:

  • Bilingual- strongly preferred or at least someone who takes the initiative to use Google Translate
  • Must have computer experience- MS Outlook, PowerPoint,  some Excel.
  • Good with multi-tasking
  • Great customer service
  • Self-Starter- can work independently.

Preferred:

  • Working in a manufacturing/shipping environment or a mix (i.e not just corporate-type admin roles as the environment is different).

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
  • Receive and direct visitors and clients.
  • General clerical duties.
  • Handle requests for information and data.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules.
  • Maintain office supply inventories.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Education and Work History:  

  • High School diploma required.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
  • Communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software/applications.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Prioritizing
