Job Description: Client Service Specialist (CSS)

 

Reports to:  President/Director of Operations

Gives Priority Direction to: Warehouse Supervisor/Personnel

 

NADC provides a positive Team Environment, where employees are cross trained to allow for flexibility in accomplishing both short term and long goals.  The Client Service Specialists is responsible for ensuring that warehouse supervisor and personnel are balancing both Efficiency and Quality/Timeline for both NADC and its customers.  The CSS is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.  All NADC policies and procedures must be followed.  The CSS is to alert the Director of Operations of any issues that cannot be resolved.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•       Create all documents necessary for inbound and outbound processes. Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and timely.

•       Utilize Scheduling Software to optimize facility efficiencies.

•       Schedule all inbound and outbound truck and Includes LTL, UPS/FedEx Feeder Truck, etc. within the system(s).

•       Dispatch loads for pick-up and delivery based on appointment times, operating hours, geographic locations and special instructions.

•       Direct carriers regarding proper loading/unloading and communicate drivers of proper warehouse procedures. 

•       Receive product into inventory system; monitor/evaluate inventory.

•       Verify all documentation/product is accurate.

•       Assess customer/carrier needs and questions.

•       Verify and confirm pick up and/or delivery of customer product; update order status in inventory system.

•       Coordinate and communicate with warehouse/office employees.

•       Report incidents, accidents, service failures.

•       Participate in cross training and continuing education to stay informed with company and industry trends, or as requested by  management.

•       Deliver all types of communication, including phone and email, in a professional, pleasant, and detailed manner.
