services to clients throughout the United States. Savant Engineering is seeking career-minded,
proficient Senior Electrical Engineer who is enthusiastic, driven, and highly motivated, to join
our team in and around the Atlanta, GA area.

As the Electrical Department Head, you would be responsible for:
 Day-to-day management of our team of Electrical Engineers in the company including
project PL.
 Meeting client required deadlines.
 Assigning projects to the electrical staff.
 Overseeing and supporting the work of the EE staff for quality control.
 Signing as the Electrical EOR for many projects.
 Mentoring younger engineers by leading engineering lunch learns, teaching sessions,
answering questions, and providing design advice.
 Being the lead designer and producer of several of your own projects – typically the
more complicated ones.  This position will have support in the production of work as
well – you’ll do a fair bit of production but will have the ability to hand some of the easier
tasks off to the intern level engineers.
 Site visits for surveys and Construction Administration.
 Troubleshooting construction issues and designing creative solutions to any issues.
 Extensive client(s)/customer(s) contact in meetings, some marketing efforts, and project
management.
 Input as to the direction the electrical engineering group as far as staffing, software,
hardware, project types, and clients
Exceptional technical problem-solving skills are important for the Senior EE to identify a
project’s electrical engineering issues and proceed with prompt corrective direction. Being able
to complete team setting and to complete objectives within a given timeframe is a must.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering
principles, and a drive to push the boundaries of technological advancements.

We Need Your Expertise
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
 Electrical Design and Development: Create, review, and modify electrical designs for a
diverse range of projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety regulations,
and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and
translate them into feasible electrical solutions.

 Project Planning and Management: Participate in project planning, estimate timelines, and
allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and successful project
delivery.
 Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements in
electrical engineering and contribute to the research and development of cutting-edge
solutions that enhance our companys capabilities.
 Documentation: Supervise the Creation of engineered construction documents and reports.
 Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all electrical projects adhere to relevant safety
standards, codes, and regulations.
 Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to provide coordinated electrical
designs.
 Support to clients and contractors: Savant Engineering develops strong relationships with
clients and contractors alike. We are regularly called upon to help problem solve on unique
issues. Applicants must have a good grasp on problem solving and construction practices.
 Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction,
and performance enhancement in electrical design and development methodologies.
 Must contain a clean driving record and be insurable.
 Other functions as directed by ownership.
Experience Desired:
 This position requires a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
 The Electrical Engineer must have proven experience in electrical lighting and power
design, as well as the development, implementation of electrical construction projects
(10+years of progressive experience).
 Must possess a current; and valid State of residence Driver’s License and be insurable.
 Solid project management experience running a multi-discipline team including mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing engineers
 Licensure as a Professional Engineer is a must. 
 Proficient in AutoCad and Revit.
 Knowledge of E-Tap and or SKMTools is a plus.
 Ability to mentor and train younger engineers and create an environment of trust,
education, and collaboration.
 Experience with a variety of construction project types including, but not limited to, Retail,
Industrial, Education (K-12 and Higher), Multi-Family, Hospitality, Medical, Solar, Office
(ground up and interior fit-up), Government work (Military, GSA), and Restaurant.  Not
necessarily all of the above, but a variety of project types is desired.

WHO SAVANT ENGINEERING IS:
 Approximately a 20-person engineering firm was founded in 2003.
 Projects are typically developed 75% in Revit, 25% in ACAD – depending on the project
type and the client.
 Our work includes all of the project types noted above.  We like to meet with our clients
face to face and review projects in depth.  We’ve found that this old school approach not
only creates relationships but minimizes issues during construction.
