Position Overview:  Act as Inside Salesperson for CSE Bliss Manufacturing, LLC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Reports

The Inside Salesperson is responsible for customer management, quoting, sales order entry, and part identification. This individual will work with the production team to coordinate the delivery of customer orders on time and resolve quality/warranty issues. In addition, they will oversee invoicing customers and collecting payments. They will report directly to the General Manager or such other person as the CEO or parent company management appoints. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for:

  1. Entering sales orders into system, ensuring receipt of order acknowledgments and verify pricing
  2. Quoting new mill orders and aftermarket parts to customers
  3. Closely monitoring “promise dates” to avoid late shipments to customers
  4. Invoicing and invoice management and conducting collection calls
  5. Spending time on the production floor to become familiar with parts and equipment to enhance customer service
  6. Helping to implement/manage new ERP system and optimize its use for sales activities
  7. Aid in accounting-related tasks when called upon by management
  8. Aid in reporting various metrics as needed
  9. General understanding of 2D technical drawings
  10. Working within other departments as needed to further the interest of the organization

Environmental Conditions:

  • Work is predominately in an office environment.  While in the shop area, the employee is subject to high noise levels from operating machinery; physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts; breathing fumes and dust; exposure to explosive gases.
