ROLE

The role is to lead the channel marketing strategy with the aim to position our client as the #1 brand and product for the consumer and trade. The main priorities of this position are to develop key trade marketing initiatives and drive implementation into the field. Driving implementation, this role is tasked with educating the field reps, developing them as local leaders in trade tools and initiatives. Success relies on close collaboration with key stakeholders from their NA HQ, as well as across the 12 regions.

 

Responsibilities:

· Develops and maintains the brand standards across all points of contact with the customers and consumers in the On Premise

· Develops ongoing resources to arm regional Marketing Managers with tools needed for formal and informal field trainings

· Spends time in-market, working directly with field teams, to ensure proper execution of strategy and seize opportunities for real-time coaching and development

· Leads the annual bottom-up POS planning process, working closely with SaMo and regional On Premise leaders

· Develops and distributes tools and resources to drive effective POS planning

· Serves as On Premise lead in cross functional POS team

· Drives consistent communication with SaMo HQ leaders throughout business planning process to ensure alignment with national strategies

· Develops of Sales Tools to Drive Premium Execution

· Develops On Premise Messaging Calendar

· Develops segment-specific messaging calendar to optimize opportunities to communicate to consumers at point of decision

· Oversees creation and distribution of premium content to support messaging strategy in-field

· Develops effective tools to support its implementation across the country

· Monitor product offer and product experience implementation and results in different segments for different consumers and occasions

· Budget Management

· Supports the annual account & business planning process by working with the national account team and On Premise Directors

 

Requirements:

· Experience in sales and/or a customer/trade marketing role; minimum 2 years on premise experience

· Strong analytical, communication & teamwork skills

· Exceptional planning and project management skills

· In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and trade

· Innovative, solution-oriented mindset

· Strong work ethic & Self-motivated; must be able to work independently

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Illustrator and other design programs are preferred
