We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in the health products industry. The HR Assistant will support the HR department in various administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accurate information.
  • Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in conducting background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees’ HR-related queries and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support the HR team in handling employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
  • Assist in processing payroll by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
  • Help administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and addressing inquiries.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on general HR activity and specific projects as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development:
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars for employees.
  • Maintain training records and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Other Duties:
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g., implementing new HRIS systems).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the HR department and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
  • Experience in the health products or related industry is advantageous.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
