Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Mini Melts USA. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production and distribution processes. This is an onsite job. No remote work. Please do not apply if you are not local or willing to relocate to be in the facility in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular quality control checks, including physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential issues.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and third-party laboratories for quality testing and analysis.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with quality assurance systems and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and documentation.
- Awareness of food safety standards and regulations.
