Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Develop, implement, and optimize operational plans to ensure efficient workflows, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  2. Implement and oversee quality control activity to ensure accuracy and integrity of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  3. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, negotiate pricing and service agreements, and resolve any issues or disputes.   4. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.

  6. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery, and provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a track record of successfully managing teams and overseeing warehouse activities.
  3. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and carriers, as well as to provide clear instructions to warehouse staff.
  4. Proficiency in warehouse management system software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Excellent in planning and organizing multiple projects with competing demands and deadlines.
  7. Strong analytical skills to interpret data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse performance and meet operational goals.
  8. Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
