A Warehouse Management System (WMS) Manager plays a crucial role in managing the WMS operations and ensuring the system's effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse personnel to guarantee that the system is appropriately set up, maintained, and fine-tuned to align with the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration: This involves establishing parameters, defining workflows, and creating inventory management rules.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the system is consistently updated and functioning optimally. This includes troubleshooting system issues, coordinating necessary upgrades, and verifying system performance.
  • User Training: Provide comprehensive training on system usage. This encompasses developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and offering ongoing user support.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize system data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and enhance overall warehouse operations.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with other systems, such as ERP or order management systems, to facilitate seamless data exchange.
  • Technical Support: Offer assistance to the DHL site team and customers, as well as design and implement test and project plans.

To excel in this position, a WMS Manager should possess robust technical expertise, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with inventory management and logistics best practices are essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in transportation or logistics roles.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a comparable position.
