Position Overview:
The organization is looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to oversee and manage daily logistical functions. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily logistical activities, including inventory oversight, order processing, and distribution.
2. Organize and maintain warehouse space for optimal storage of goods.
3. Conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure accurate product adjustments.
4. Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments based on customer requirements.
5. Serve as a communication link between clients, freight carriers, and the shipping department.
6. Ensure timely delivery of products by addressing and resolving any shipping delays.
7. Support cost management by analyzing shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most economical shipping methods in compliance with relevant guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain.
- Proficiency in operating a stand-up reach forklift and familiarity with computer systems.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP software is advantageous.
