PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:


The Director of Marketing, Communications, and External Affairs is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing, communication, and external affairs initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of Healing Community Center. This role includes managing marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement. The Director will work closely with the executive team to align marketing and communication strategies with the Healing Community Centers mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketing and Communications Strategy:


Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans that align with the Healing Community Centers
strategic objectives.
Manage the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and website updates.
Manage and enhance Healing Community Centers brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Public Relations:


Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate press releases, media events, and public statements.
Act as the primary spokesperson for Healing Community Center in media interactions and public engagements.

External Affairs:


Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners, including government agencies, community organizations, and other healthcare providers.
Advocate for policies and initiatives that support the mission and goals of Healing Community Center.
Monitor and respond to legislative and regulatory developments that may impact Healing Community Center.

Community Outreach:


Plan and execute community outreach programs and events to promote health services and education.
Collaborate with community organizations to identify and address local health needs.
Represent Healing Community Center at community meetings, health fairs, and other events.

Leadership and Team Management:


Lead and mentor the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
Provide regular reports to the CEO and board of directors on marketing and communication activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in healthcare marketing or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and policies.
Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to travel as needed for meetings, events, and conferences.

Occasional lifting of marketing materials and equipment may be required.

Standard office environment with occasional need for remote or off-site work.

Some evening and weekend work may be required to attend events and meetings.
