Position Summary

Consolidated Machine & Tool (CMT) is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Representative to cover the entire East Coast and service our Devens, MA, Cinnaminson, NJ, and Ontario, Canada locations. The Manufacturing Sales Representative has day-to-day duties that include maintaining positive and professional client connections while pursuing new opportunities for sales growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stay abreast of company developments, industry trends, and regulatory shifts within the CNC manufacturing sector to inform strategic sales approaches and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Foster enduring client relationships, serving as a conduit between customers and management to ensure alignment of sales efforts with organizational objectives while providing valuable feedback to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
  • Proactively track and manage quoting activities, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in pricing strategies to maximize profitability and secure new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue potential avenues for business growth within the CNC manufacturing market, leveraging market insights and networking initiatives to expand the company's client base and drive revenue.
  • Deliver comprehensive sales reports and analysis to senior management, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to optimize sales performance and drive sustained business success.
  • Analyze customer-specific data and market trends to develop insightful forecasts and projections, enabling proactive sales strategies and resource allocation to capitalize on evolving market dynamics.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to the unique needs and preferences of CNC manufacturing clients, effectively communicating product benefits and value propositions to drive customer engagement and conversion.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of three years' proven track record in sales within the realm of CNC manufacturing.
  • Proficient understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance standards, and cutting-edge advancements in manufacturing technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the CNC Manufacturing sector, with a specialized focus on aerospace and defense industries, along with a keen awareness of competitive market dynamics.
