This position reports to the VP of Sales at Sea Box, Inc. and requires exceptional customer service and follow-up skills. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of the container industry and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a strong client base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Present and sell company products to current and potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of Sea Box, Inc.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities, supporting the company's goal of continuous improvement.
- Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy, ensuring self-inspection of work products and adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts, demonstrating strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Develop and maintain current product knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve client concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals, demonstrating strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback to appropriate company staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
- Skills/Qualifications: Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a sales representative role, with a background in container or international sales.
