Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:

This position reports to the VP of Sales at Sea Box, Inc. and requires exceptional customer service and follow-up skills. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of the container industry and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong client base by identifying and pursuing cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities.
  • Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the Sea Box Quality Policy by self-inspecting work products and ensuring quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
  • Present and sell company products to current and potential clients, following up on new leads and referrals.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts, preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain current product knowledge and establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services, manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up, and identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals, and communicate new product and service opportunities to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a sales representative role, with a background in container or international sales.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
