Position Summary:

Greenworks is looking for a product leader to drive innovative products to market. The Associate Product Manager is the owner/expert of his/her category of products. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, effectively marketing the products, and working closely with engineering, manufacturing, finance, regulatory, and quality to deliver successful products to market. Our core is delivering what our customers need, and in this position, the product manager must understand our customers' needs thoroughly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Category Management. Candidate will be expected to own the assigned category/s.
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from cradle to grave.
  • Work with Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing to deliver on time and on cost for new programs.
  • Support sales management by providing training on products, feature/benefit opportunities and competitive comparisons.
  • Monitor Product P&L and ROI. Monitor results of sales, and quality. Drive corrective actions to improve results.
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of market, industry, and
  • Provide business cases for new programs.
  • Strong contact and understanding of end users/retailers.
  • Working closely with Sales, R&D, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to deliver on time and on cost for new programs.
  • Cultivate a teamwork environment through all department members that allows for expressive ideation and the supportiveness to enable each team to succeed.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers & sales to deliver category/product launch packages.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum two years' experience in Product Management / Marketing required.
  • Minimum two years' experience in product development of consumer products. Power Tools or Outdoor Power Equipment Preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration or Marketing preferred).
  • Proven project management skills. Results oriented.
  • Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience.
