Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Operations Manager to oversee the machining operations at Carolina Precision Technologies. The ideal candidate will have previous management/supervisory experience in a CNC machining environment and be able to guide and assist in training employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing supervision, delivering on production goals and metrics, coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.
  • Guiding and assisting in training employees and ensuring that machining operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Displaying professionalism in communicating with various departments, including CNC Machining, Wash/Deburr, Quality, Maintenance, and Training.
  • Utilizing a computer/pc to maintain positive production during shifts and setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision.
  • Organizing workflow, ensuring employees understand their duties or delegated tasks, monitoring employee productivity, and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Maintaining and assisting in achieving goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision and communicating them to subordinates.
  • Conveying information from upper management to employees and vice versa, ensuring adherence to legal and company policies and procedures, and undertaking disciplinary actions if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role.
  • Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
  • Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Previous CNC shop experience.
