We are looking for a dynamic individual who would thrive as an Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist focused on accounts receivable, GL postings, soft collections, and client relations.  Other responsibilities could include administrative tasks as needed. This role is designed for someone who can take initiative, is detail-oriented, thrives on multi-tasking, and loves a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
  • Full Time, Non-Exempt
  • Monday – Friday (flexible start/end time between 7:30 am -4:30 pm). May consider less than full-time for the right candidate

Compensation
  • $24.00 - $29.00 per hour, Depending on Experience

Location
  • Reno, NV - In Office (no option for remote)

Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Manage Accounts Receivable duties
  • Build and maintain relationships with Customer Accounts payable contacts
  • General understanding of debits and credits
  • Initiate daily collection calls and resolve outstanding issues
  • Conduct account research and analysis
  • Identify A/R issues related to offsets, unidentified cash, misapplied cash, or billing errors
  • Maintain an accurate aging report
  • Streamline accounting processes to increase accuracy and accountability
  • Assist with data entry as it relates to labor tracking and other essential metrics
  • Assist with administrative duties when assigned


Attributes of a Strong Candidate
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Accounts Receivable/Collections experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other computer software
  • Beginning to Intermediate knowledge and experience using Excel and spreadsheets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrate administrative efficiency and effectiveness
  • Excellent customer service
  • Experience in Business Central – (preferred)
  • A “can-do’ positive attitude
  • A pre-Employment Background Check required
