Job Description

  • Organize electronic files 
  • Send emails to perspective Attorneys offices to determine if they will accept a case from our law firm on referral 
  • Maintain organization of files sent for review so you can properly follow-up and answer any questions needed to complete referral
  • Maintain organized electronic files with updated information and status of referral
  • Communicate with clients regarding the referral of their case to another law firm 
  • Verify referral settlement funds received once case is settled and that all proper expenses and fees are reimbursed to our firm
  • Follow-up on referred cases to check the status and also to confirm lawsuits are timely filed
  • Handle administrative/ legal assistant task by assisting the negotiations department.
