Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to bolster case development and strategic planning.
  • Draft and review essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Engage with insurance providers to negotiate coverage and settlements effectively.
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including hearings and depositions.
  • Manage all facets of case administration, including scheduling and coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with senior case managers and the legal team to formulate and implement case strategies.
  • Provide clients with regular updates regarding their case status and potential outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal proceedings alongside the legal team.
  • Handle mass torts, class actions, and product liability cases as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Personal Injury Case Manager role or similar capacity.
  • Proven expertise in managing cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and toxic torts.
  • Strong proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case file management.
  • In-depth knowledge of law and motion practices, depositions, pleadings, discovery, and docketing.
  • Experience in managing personal injury claims and negotiating with insurance entities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to translate legal documents and communications between English and Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a substantial caseload.
  • Familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Must possess a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
