Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

The Process Control Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of various process control platforms


• Manage the design and layout of distributed control systems, control strategies, operator graphics, and alarm management

• Monitor modifications and upgrades

• Troubleshoot existing processes

• Develops control strategy plans and documents control system hardware and software configurations

• Provide pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup support to operations.

• Performs routine system maintenance and modifications to minimize downtime and loss of information

Qualifications:

Required Skills:


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate internally and externally to all levels of the organization

• Self-motivated with ability to originate and adapt to new ideas

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously

• Ability to work in a team-based environment

• Strong track record of delivering quality results


2+ years’ experience with Emerson Delta V programming environment along with significant hands on usage of DCS systems (troubleshooting, graphics development, history trending, data exporting, etc.)

BS in Engineering Discipline
