As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions for our corporate Aviation department. Here are the roles youll play:


  • Financial Statement Preparation: Generate comprehensive financial statements and supporting schedules in alignment with the monthly close schedule for the aviation department.
  • Monthly Close Management: Oversee and complete all monthly close procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Account Reconciliations: Conduct thorough monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Variance Reporting and Audits: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, analyzing and reporting on variances, and supporting financial and tax audits, as well as corporate reporting requirements.
  • Internal Controls Support: Aid in documenting and monitoring internal controls to ensure robust financial governance.

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of stellar accounting experience; CPA is a plus, with a preference for corporate accounting experience.
  • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Highly meticulous and well-organized in work processes.
  • Consistently meets assigned deadlines with efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Capable of operating independently with minimal daily direction to achieve objectives.
  • Works cooperatively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to enhance performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a preference for experience in Macros or Power Query.
