We are hiring for a SALES PROFESSIONAL, TILE AND STONE INSTALLATION SYSTEMS, to join our NORTHERN CALIFORNIA sales team (SAN FRANCISCO BAY or SACRAMENTO base preferred) to cultivate existing and new business opportunities with partner distributors, commercial tiling contractors, tiling installers, specifiers, and other key business influencers, through job site visits, cold calls, distributor training, professional presentations, and exemplifying the ARDEX solution driven, "customer first" approach.

Daily territory travel with some overnight. Compensation potential: $80-120k. Compensation comprises base salary, commission, bonus

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth of ARDEX and Henry products by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
  • Promote products through hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and professional displays
  • Build relationships with partner distributors, specialist contractors, general contractors, architects, and key business influencers.
  • Provide field service & support including job start assistance, bid preparation, and distributor/installer training
  • Provide technical expertise and technical recommendations, liaising with our technical team for resources and solutions
  • Achieve targets and exceed goals
  • Collaborate with corporate resources (Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics) to deliver exceptional service to ARDEX customers
  • Represent ARDEX as the industry leader for exemplary professional standards and a 'customer first' approach.



  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience
  • Knowledge of tile and stone installation systems is required. Tile installation experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally
  • Must be able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
  • Technically proficient. Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business and be customer-driven and professional
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory as per advertised amounts, including some overnight.
  • Must be able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion, with a carrying capability of 55 pounds
  • Minimum four (4) year college degree or greater is preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience
