SUMMARY The Pickleball Community Lead will be responsible for fostering a vibrant and engaged pickleball community, organizing events, and promoting the growth of pickleball within the local area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Organize and coordinate pickleball events, tournaments, and leagues.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new players and retain existing members.
- Serve as a liaison between the company/organization and the pickleball community.
- Manage social media channels, website content, and other communication platforms to promote pickleball activities and engage with the community.
- Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and businesses to promote pickleball and establish partnerships.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to members of the pickleball community.
- Other duties as assigned by Team Lead or shift lead.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
The Pickleball Community Lead must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to demonstrate they can perform the essential functions of the job, along with the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Passion for pickleball and a strong understanding of the game.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and event planning abilities.
- Experience in community engagement or organizing recreational activities is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in community outreach and event planning
