The Role:

As a Paralegal Specialist, you'll be on the legal frontlines, providing critical support to Army attorneys and commanding officers. From legal research to document preparation and trial assistance, your expertise will be instrumental in upholding the rule of law and ensuring fair and impartial justice for our soldiers.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including briefs, motions, and appeals, for military courts and administrative proceedings.
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of topics, including military regulations, case law, and international law.
Coordinate witness interviews, gather evidence, and prepare trial exhibits to support legal proceedings.
Maintain case files and databases, tracking the progress of cases and ensuring compliance with legal deadlines and procedures.
Provide legal assistance to soldiers and their families on matters such as wills, powers of attorney, and military administrative actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field (Associate's degree with paralegal certification may be accepted).
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with legal and military personnel.
US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
