We are seeking a career-minded designer and sales representative who is committed to working with Select Surfaces long term. Job assignments include assisting clients in our boutique showroom, selling quartz countertops and plumbing fixtures, as well as our labor services. 


Company Overview

Select Surfaces is family owned and operated and has been fabricating, selling and installing high quality quartz countertops across the midwest for 29 years. We are passionate about providing our customers with the best experience possible. Our team is made up of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Generating sales leads and converting them into sales
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations
  • Providing excellent customer service and support
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and goals 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales efforts
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
  • Attend local industry events to promote our products and services


Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to cover our local showrooms as needed or for sales meetings
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure
