Job Summary:

Seeking a full-time Sales Specialist to join our growing and dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate would be an organized self-starter with an indomitable spirit and tremendous work ethic. The Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals to drive revenue growth for the company.

The ColdSnap system is to be sold into offices and other commercial establishments including (but not limited to): universities, hospitals; car dealerships; hotels; and sports venues. ColdSnap will sell into these commercial establishments both: a) through distributors & operators; and b) on a direct-to-account basis. An ideal candidate would therefore have experience with B2B sales and, more specifically, selling into the Office Coffee System (OCS), office pantry, vending, micro market and/or foodservice ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new clients through various methods; including, but not limited to cold calling (phone/email), LinkedIn, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Sales Demonstrations: Demonstrate the ColdSnap system to potential partners and customers so that they can see the technology and taste the ColdSnap products.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service and support.
  • Sales Presentations/Demonstrations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools, HubSpot.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities and strategies.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to help improve offerings and address client concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to achieve team sales goals and share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    1. Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
    2. 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer-service related field. B2B sales experience is highly preferred - specifically into the following vertical markets and industries (offices, sports venues, healthcare/hospitals, car dealerships, hotels, senior living, military, etc.).
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and/or customer service and support skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding metrics and sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including: ability to understand and present complex concepts clearly, take detailed notes, provide meeting recaps and specific next steps and timelines, etc.
    • A sense of urgency and a willingness to be responsive and provide clear, consistent communication and follow-up.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools (HubSpot preferred).
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team without daily management and oversight.

Working Conditions

  • Environment:
    • Ability to be highly productive in their home office setting.
    • Experience working independently with a willingness to travel up to 50%.
